The Target

SEND THEM TO
JIM JORDAN

THE HEAD OF THE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, WHO HAS TAKEN $250,000.00 FROM THE COMPANY THAT PROFITS EVERY TIME ICE MAKES AN ARREST.

A lot of you have been asking where to send your We The People postcards. Now you have a specific name. Send them to Jim Jordan, the head of the Judiciary Committee, the one committee whose actual job is oversight of ICE. He took $250,000 from the company that profits every time ICE makes an arrest.

Follow The Money

ICE Is Worse Now Than When It Was Getting All The Press

ICE is on pace for the deadliest year in its history. It just set the largest single month arrest record in the history of the Department of Homeland Security. It is holding roughly 68,000 people, and most of them have never been convicted of anything. Nearly 90 percent of the people ICE holds are in for profit prisons.

Villain One

GEO Group

They own the prisons. Every person ICE arrests lines their pockets. GEO's profit was about $32 million in 2024 and jumped to more than $254 million in 2025, an eight times increase in a single year. The company told its investors to expect about $3 billion in 2026.

8x

profit increase in one year

Villain Two

Jim Jordan

He runs the House Judiciary Committee, and that committee's whole job is watching ICE. GEO Group sent $3 million to MAGA Inc., Trump's super PAC, in three separate checks. Another $250,000 went to Jim Jordan's PAC.

$250K

from GEO Group to Jordan's PAC

GEO Group is funding the people in charge of their oversight.

The Case

The Constitution Is Clear

Article VI and Amendments 4, 5, 14

1

Article VI

No Troops

in cities without state approval

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Federal power stops where the Constitution says it stops. States are not occupied territory.

  • Marbury v. Madison (1803)
  • Cooper v. Aaron (1958)
  • United States v. Nixon (1974)
2

Amendment 4

No ICE Raids

without a judicial warrant

An ICE administrative warrant is not a judicial warrant. A judge has to sign it. That protection covers every person on American soil.

  • Yick Wo v. Hopkins (1886)
3

Amendments 5 and 14

Due Process

for all, including non citizens

The text says person, not citizen. The Supreme Court has said so repeatedly. Due process is not a reward for status.

  • Boumediene v. Bush (2008)
  • Plyler v. Doe (1982)

In Practice

What this looks like in practice

61

people have died due to ICE in the 500 days since the inauguration. 24 of them died this year. 10 took their own lives.

Over the past seven years an average of 8 people a year died in ICE custody. Now it is one every 9.6 days.

4x

ICE arrests have more than quadrupled.

51,000

arrests last month, the most in a single month in the history of the Department of Homeland Security.

Renee Good and Alex Pretti

Both were United States citizens. Both were killed by ICE agents in Minneapolis. Enforcement carried out without judicial warrants produced exactly the harm the Fourth Amendment exists to prevent. A judge reviewing the action first is the difference between policing and force without a check.

The accountability gap

An FBI supervisor reportedly resigned after attempting to investigate the ICE agent involved in the Good shooting. Judicial warrants exist to close that gap before it opens.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia

Wrongly deported to El Salvador. Later returned to the United States. The case against him was dismissed by a federal judge. Due process resolved the question in his favor. Without it, the government had already been wrong and a man was already gone.

59%

of voters say ICE is too aggressive, up 10 points since July.

Fox News poll

65%

say ICE has gone too far.

Marist, PBS, NPR poll

This isn't a partisan read. Even Fox's own polling agrees.

The Count

Say Their Names

61 people have died due to ICE in the 500 days since the inauguration. Every one of them was a person.

The Method

The 3.5% Rule

Harvard researchers Erica Chenoweth and Maria Stephan studied every major resistance campaign of the last century. No movement that engaged 3.5% of the population ever failed.

In the United States, 3.5% is about 12 million people. That is the number. One postcard each.

Dear Representative,

In the words of the Father of our Constitution, James Madison:

"A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive, will not long be safe companions to liberty."

(Federalist No. 41)

We know you see this abuse of power. The majority of Americans oppose it.
